This Cookie Policy explains how WebWorks 101 OÜ uses cookies and similar technologies on wwidgets.com and in the widgets that our customers display on their own websites.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. Similar technologies, such as the browser's local storage, work in a comparable way. They allow a website to remember information between pages or visits.
2. Cookies on wwidgets.com
We only use cookies that are necessary for the website and your account to work, or that remember choices you have made:
- Session and sign-in cookies: keep you signed in and protect forms against misuse.
- Security cookies: temporarily limit repeated failed sign-in, registration or password-reset attempts.
- Preference cookies: remember your selected language, currency and similar settings.
- Referral cookie: if you arrive through an affiliate link, remembers who referred you so the referral can be credited.
- Notice cookies: remember that you have already seen or closed certain account notices.
We do not use advertising cookies on wwidgets.com. If we add analytics or marketing tools in the future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
3. Widgets on our customers' websites
When a website uses wwidgets.com notifications, the widget stores small values in your browser's local storage, for example whether you have closed a notification, how often it has been shown to you, and whether you have already submitted a form. This prevents the same notification from being shown again and again. These values do not identify you by name and stay in your browser. The website owner decides which widgets are used and is responsible for informing you about them.
4. Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings. If you block necessary cookies, signing in to wwidgets.com and some functions will not work.
